Every computer on the internet has a unique IP address to identify it and help others to find it. Since it is inconvenient to remember IP addresses, and since they can change from time to time, most web sites register an easy-to-remember domain name.

To get the most out of your Axentra Server, you should register a domain name, and have it resolve to your Server's IP address. You can register a domain name using a domain name registrar. If you have a dynamic IP address, you will also need to sign up with a dynamic DNS service.
