HipServ™ is a complete home server software platform and applications suite that puts Service Providers (SPs) at the center of the digital home and increases average revenue per user and subscriber affinity through compelling digital home features and online services that enrich the subscriber experience. Processor Platforms

HipServ supports the broadest range of computing devices including embedded processors from Marvel and Freescale. HipServ operates on a broad range of processor technology including ARM, PowerPC, XScale, and x86.

The HipServ software platform is optimized for embedded processors, improving performance and usability. HipServ benefits from using an enterprise class Linux operating system with modular software components that can enable HipServ to deliver the features and price points that are competitive.

Online Services

The HipServ framework also provides the ability to integrate to online service offerings, and can deliver these services and associated advertising directly to CPEs running the HipServ platform. Service providers can provide direct access to existing services and can use the HipServ platform to deliver single sign-on for authentication to third party service offerings and portals. Service providers can drive additional revenues per user by directly advertising and providing services through the HipServ device.
