Enjoy your digital media
HipServ allows you to collect all of your media and enjoy them on a variety of devices on your home network, or remotely through a web browser. You can create Albums and playlists and share them with friends and family. Or you can look at your photos and watch your videos on your favourite game station such as a PS3 or Xbox. HipServ allows you to simply and easily enjoy your photos, videos and music, anywhere and at any time.
Media Library
The Media Library application allows you to manage your files and folders that have been backed up and synced from various sources. You can add tags and captions to files, create albums with photos and videos, or create music playlists and share these albums with friends and family. The media library provides detailed information on a media files and allows you to determine how those files can be used by HipServ users, friends and family, or attached digital media adapters.
Enjoy your photos
HipServ allows you to create albums that can be shared with family and friends. Create albums with themes representing major events such as birthdays, or weddings and share your themed albums with your friends and family through sharing emails, or through public albums available on the web and on your home network with compatible picture frames (such as the Kodak EasyShare) or through digital media adapters and gamestations.
           
Enjoy your music
You can connect to your HipServ and access your music collection from any UPNP compliant music player such as a Roku or Sony Music box. Or connect to your HipServ from iTunes and listen to your music from any PC in the home.
Enjoy your videos
HipServ will stream your videos to a wide selection of DLNA compliant digital media adapters. Popular DMAs including the Netgear Digital Entertainer, or a DLink DSM device as well as game stations such as the Xbox 360 and PS2 will be able to connect to your HipServ and stream movies and home videos to your TV.

Remote Access
A household’s digital content can be accessed from anywhere in the world via the myHipServ.com media portal which provides each HipServ unit with a unique web address. Users can view the digital files over a standard web browser at myHipServ.com.
Backup
The HipServ desktop applications software provides powerful backup and synchronization functionality. Personal folders or critical data can be backed up from multiple Windows or Mac PCs. Digital media files and personal data on the HipServ unit can also be archived and backed up onto a USB storage device that can be connected to a USB drive.

HipServ also allows users to backup digital content to online services through the software platform. Online backup and other online service offerings can be delivered to the user through HipServ.
Sharing
HipServ allows you to share your content with friends and family by sharing an album. You can share your media publicly without access controls or more securely with specified users. HipServ will also allow you to share media in folders and albums with digital media players on the home network.
     
Print Server
Turn any USB printer into a networked printer by using the HipServ Print server. You can print from any PC connected to the home network on which the HipServ resides.

You can use the PS3 to connect to a HipServ either in the home, or from anywhere in the world and have complete access to the HipServ Rich Internet Application.

You can use the PS3 to view videos or photos, and listen to music, and you can also manage your media by creating albums and sharing them with others

Axentra’s HipServ®2.0 software is a highly secure and stable home server application that can be used to store, manage, share, and use digital data.
