HipServ’s content upload wizard allows you to load files to the FamilyLibrary or PersonalLibrary quickly and simply. With HipServ’s QuickConnect feature, users can drag and drop content to and from the HipServ device in native Windows or Mac file system mode.

Digital still camera, video camera, and camera phone content can be saved with HipServ’s Pictures Wizard feature which allows users to directly upload photos to the HipServ.

Easily find your files!
HipServ’s smart and easy-to-use web search interface makes it easy for you to find your files. HipServ’s indexing, tagging, and search capabilities allow you to quickly find your files without the need to search through individual folders.

The MyComputers feature allows you to back up your personal data from your PCs to your HipServ. Select the PC or Mac content you want mirrored, and HipServ will back up and continuously update the content in the background.

Axentra’s DesktopMirror software provides a bi-directional sync capability to keep a folder on the PC synchronized with a folder on HipServ. Folders can also be backed up on a scheduled basis to the HipServ.

Personal digital media can also be archived and backed up onto a removable USB storage device that can be connected to the HipServ device. Soon, HipServ will also allow you to back up your precious content to an integrated online service accessible directly from within the HipServ interface.

Because HipServ stores all of your media in one place, you can access it from anywhere—both in and out of your home. 

HipServ’s built-in media server makes your shared content available to a wide range of digital media players that support UPnP AV, and many DLNA compliant devices in the home. You can also access the content on gaming systems like the Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3.

Windows and Mac PC folders that have mirrored copies of the folders on HipServ are easily accessible by going to the MyComputers application and having secure access to PC files even if the PC is turned off.
