Hi guys. Thanks for your nice comments. Hope you are using the API to come up with nice projects around your HipServ device. We are developing interesting stuff here at Axentra leveraging that API. It's not official yet, but keep an eye on our announcements in the next two weeks. There is a whole new HipServ Desktop app on its way and all 700,000 HipServ users will love it. For that app we are using the API extensively. I am sure this will give you lots of ideas. We also have partners looking at connecting to HipServ devices from their own apps using our API and other tools.

Hi Jasmine,

We are aware of this issue, but the ED Mini Home Edition product was discontinued a few years ago and will no longer be receiving updates. Because of this, the agent tools will not be compatible with the latest OS X. You should still be able to access your HipServ by connecting to it with a web browser via homelacie.com or managing your files by mapping the drives in Finder's Go -> Connect to Server and entering smb:// where you replace with the actual ip address of your HipServ.

If you require further assistance, please contact us at support@axentra.com .

Cheers,
Roby!

Hi Martinez,

HipServ is not available for purchase/download as a standalone application for Linux. It is found within many NAS products, or as a VM for Windows. Please visit http://www.axentra.com/ to view our current product offerings.

Thanks,
Roby!
